update

An update on the post below.  Roads were re-opened this morning and my son was able to return.  When they arrived, they found lots of patches of burnt grass on their yard from burning embers.  Each patch was a couple of feet square.   The grass was exceedingly dry, but fortunately very short so the fire could not take hold.
